As we head toward the Thanksgiving holiday and in light of the terrorist attacks in Paris recently, I thought we’d take a moment to focus on being grateful. So often we are busy and distracted and forget to take time to be thankful for the things we have in life. Sometimes as Americans, we take our freedom and blessings for granted, as many others around the globe live in a very different world than we do. We need to remember above everything else that our freedom comes at a cost. So many men and women have served our nation and are currently serving to keep us safe and free. As we enter into the holiday season and come to the end of another year, it is often hard to stay focused and on task. We get distracted with the glitz and glamour of the holiday season, decorations and shopping, upcoming events and all that needs to be done both personally and professionally.
